MicronasNIT has a number of SR4 Robots which they have equipped as development platforms for wireless applications involving video and audio streaming, videophone, digital TV, voice tracking, voice command, object tracking and face recognition technology
MicronasNIT is a design house in Montenegro and Novi Sad, Serbia, specializing in software and hardware solutions (reference designs) and services in the area of consumer electronics, multimedia and communications.

The MicronasNIT-modified SR4s are controlled by a remote PC which is on the same wireless network and is able to act as a mobile, wireless videophone (bidirectional). As mobile TV-based multimedia centers, the robots can play (or project) movies, music and/or presentations. The MicronasNIT-modified SR4s are also able to track a person in videophone contact utilizing face recognition (see MicronasNIT whitepapers on Object Tracking Software and on Autonomous Robots).

Proximity sensors have been added for wall detection as a navigation-assist for narrow halls and passages, and for avoiding obstacles and stairways.
